Mr. Freeman is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of seriously injured people.

As part of this organization, David has volunteered his time to aiding the victims of hurricane Sandy and has lectured to high school students about the dangers of texting while driving. In addition to his law degree, David has a Master’s Degree in Psychology.

Mr. Freeman has practiced law for over 20 years as an attorney since graduating from Brooklyn Law School. He worked for an additional five years as a Litigation Law Clerk during the day while attending law school at night.  He brings that same work ethic to Philip J. Rizzuto, P.C. where he continues to be an advocate for the seriously injured client.

Mr. Freeman succeeded in winning a significant medical malpractice case for the family for the wrongful death of their mother.  A former Appellate Court Justice had said that the case could not be won, but David prevailed and obtained a substantial six figure award.

Additionally, Mr. Freeman obtained a multiple six figure awards for a 69 year old man who suffered a bulging disc in his back, a woman who tripped and fell chipping her tooth with a small, and healed chip fracture in her elbow and obtained a verdict more than five times the defendant’s final offer for a 69 year old man who aggravated a significant pre-existing rotator cuff tear for which he was still under treatment.   David has tried many challenging cases to verdict including medical malpractice and general liability cases.

Mr. Freeman fought for and won a significant verdict for a woman involved in a motor vehicle accident who was about to lose her home because she was disabled for a period of time, and could not work.

The insurance company denied responsibility for her injuries and made a nominal nuisance value offer which was rejected.  Mr. Freeman took the case to verdict and was awarded $600,000.00.
